Today
Today
I'm so far away
From everything.
I reach to grasp
But it falls through my fingers
Like mercury
I see the letters dance about the page,
But no words form.
I'm floating farther out
Than I've ever been
And things are getting cloudy.
Resolutions fade
Transform to grey
And I can't change my course.
I should know the way
But I can't divine a clear thought.
Breathing is becoming
A chore…

a chore,
I have to concentrate.
All the while,
Every breath brings me
Closer to my
Last.

What will it taste like?

I am numb, senses dulled.
As if my nerves have been

I love melanie's pic, that's so cool! I also can never see any of your pics...that's games...i'm also in the zaniest of moods ever today, being that it is a full moon here, that's understandable, and finally.......that was very nicely written.....I hope you are not sad or discouraged....life's too short...just enjoy it and breathe easy. oh, btw, I get nothing! ;) jk

every now and then we need to slip away, i think. but don't go out too far, because we'll be here waiting for you.
I imagine this as a sort of hurricane of the mind. but just think how blue and clear the sky looks after. after the confusion, comes the clarity. and look how lovely the words formed regardless.
oh btw...I can finally see your pics!!! YAY! Brings on a whole new meaning to the words, you were right. Very nice.
